About me

I graduated from the Prague College of Psychosocial Studies with a degree in Psychology where I simultaneously completed accredited self-experience training in Daseinsanalytic Therapy. I extended my psychotherapeutic education at the University of Jyväskylä in the cognitive-behavioural therapy of post-traumatic stress disorders and at Sigmund Freud University Vienna in the field of existential analysis. At Palacký University Olomouc, I completed my doctoral study in spiritual determinants of mental health. After my study, I started working in the therapeutic team of OUSHI at Palacký university Olomouc, in the therapeutic community for addiction treatment in Mníšek pod Brdy as a volunteer, and in individual psychological counselling.

In my practice, I focus on self-acceptance, self-esteem, interpersonal and intergenerational relationships, personal and spiritual development, and developing skills to cope with difficult situations in life. In group therapy, I help clients to recognise the connections between their attitudes, behaviours, and relationship problems and then help them to change these behaviour patterns within the therapy group. My research focuses on the ethical issues of using artificial intelligence to treat anxiety disorders. In teaching students at Palacký University Olomouc, I focus on the methodology of bachelor's and master's theses and consultations in the field of quantitative and qualitative methods of psychological research.
