About me
After graduating in clinical psychology and theology at Palacký University Olomouc, I defended my professorship in clinical psychology at the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University Olomouc in 2013. I specialise in family and couples therapy, hypnosis, and supervision in palliative care. I work as a lecturer in psychotherapeutic training at the Prague School of Psychosocial Studies. I am also involved in the academic and scientific fields. I am a researcher at the Kosice Institute for Society and Health at the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice in collaboration with the Department of Social Medicine, University of Groningen, Netherlands.
I am currently the Vice Dean of Sts Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology, Palacký University Olomouc, where I also lecture. I provide psychological counselling for the Counselling Service Centre at Palacký University. I am a member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy and a member of the Czech Daseinsanalysis Society.
I have lived in Austria for a long time, working with palliative, elderly, and dying patients in a hospice and a nursing home. I am a mountaineer, run marathons, and regularly go on pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
